Well, there you have it. We just received the “slate” for Department Head billets and we are headed to HM-15 out of Corpus Christi, Texas. It will be wonderful to be back in the States, but even more so to be back in Texas. The people, the fellowship, the food . . . . . wonderful. Lisa, Connor, and McKenzie are all very happy to hear that we are heading back to Texas. Now the wait begins for Orders to arive. As soon as that happens Lisa and the kids will pack up the house and head on over the horizon to set up shop in Corpus. I will join them around Christmas time and then head to Norfolk to go through the MH-53E refresher course at AWSTS for a couple of months.

Amazing. When Los found out the news, he came running down the street (I was getting our mail). He had a wide smile and was bubbling over with joy, saying something about Paul and Timothy being reunited. Who’d have thought:)
